Mathew Barnes was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and currently splits time between Dallas and Los Angeles. His passion for people and emotion is a reoccurring theme in his work. In November of 2009 his series, “The Invisible People” raised funds and awareness for the Dallas Life Foundation for the homeless. In February of 2011 Mathew was selected to participate in the Irving Black Arts Councils Artist’s showcase.
